Potala Palace is only 10 minutes drive or 50 minutes walk. Jokhang Temple is about 15 minutes drive, Palden Lhamo Shrine is near Lhasa Tsuklakhang. Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si) is about 25 minutes drive from hotel and Nechung Monastery and Temple is about 21 minutes drive.
Remember this is Lhasa, oxygen level here is only 50% to what you may be used to while walking in any US city.

Shigatse and Tashi Lhunpo Monastery are about 4 hours 30 minutes drive from Lhasa. Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum Stupa are about 4 hours and 45 minutes drive from Lhasa. You can also use train, to get from Lhasa to Shigatse, it would take around 2 hours and 30 minutes one way.
