This particular resort is in the beach area of the island, with many other local restaurants, within 10 -16 minutes walk.  This is a very vacation area. Not too busy or business inclined. Beaches and nature lagoons are the main attraction of this island. This is one of the rare spot of pink flamingoes.

Tavolara and Molara islands is about 22 minutes drive from the hotel and a short ferry ride.

Las Grietas swimming basing  is about 5 minutes walk from the resort. Nearest beach Tortuga Bay Beach, is about 45 minutes walk. Charles Darwin Station is about 25 minutes walk from the ferry. Galapagos frontier is about 20 minutes drive from the resort. This is the most fascinating nature reserve island.

Aeroporto Fernando de Noronha (FEN) is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Non-stop flight to Natal, Brazil would cost you around $400.00 round trip. Resort stay would cost about $500.00 a night.

It is within 10 minutes drive to ski resort Gorny Vozdukh.

This ski resort is considered to be one of the best in the far east region. Resort is 51 minutes drive from the waterfall Vodopad Khomutovskiy is about 1 hour drive to another

ski lyft  Gora Krasnaya Sever.

Famous Sakhalin Regional Museum is only 10 minutes drive or 35 minutes walk from the hotel. Nature in this region is amazing. There is a lot to explore. Getting a tourist's visa, however, is more challenging, considering current political climate.

Resort is located about 25 minutes drive from Aeroport Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In order to get a pricing for tickets you have to have an open visa first. I was unable to get any information regarding flights available, except for the schedule.  We can assume it is around $200.00 to $400.00

a round trip ticket from Moscow to Yuzhno Sakhalinsk. Ticket from Syracuse, NY,  to Moscow, Russia, for example, would run around $1,990.00 per person, round trip. I am

This is forest, trails and national park territory, not much shopping or anything to do, other than outdoor activities. Lodge  itself is located on the shore of Lake Huillinco, close to Chilote forest., the home of KodKod Cat. Closest small town center is Cucao within 12 minutes drive.

 

But this is a very poor small village within tsunami zone, with minimal access and services and road complete ending within next 12 minutes drive in Huentemo, Chonchi, Los Lagos, Chile.  After that there are only mountain trails. This part of the island is very secluded.

Sendero y mirador los 4 lagos park entry is about 20 minutes drive from the cabins. Parque Tepuhueico  entry is bout 35 minutes drive from the lake cabins and can be accessed near Fogón Comedor Costa Brava restaurant entry.

​

Closest airport is regional El Tepual Airport is in Puerto Montt, and is about 4 hours 20 minutes drive to the lodge. flight from LAX would cost you around $850.00 round trip.

Lodge would cost you around $120.00 a night.

Official language spoken in this region is Chilean Spanish.

Very few people understand or speak English. You need to know basic Spanish to travel easy.
